What Do You Want?
what do you want
your cake and it
my drum to destroy?
a tune, and you beat it
what would you like me to see
me to stay still
hung by the dreams
and the way i feel
with or without
and no in-between
i cannot be your prophet
your seer or ever helpful dream
and i cannot let –
every train just pass
when one day,
a destination will call
and i may need to move fast
what do you want
your cake and eat it
find this hope and faith
and eventually for us to meet it
