Crossed Wires
i was not born like others
i do not work quite the same
i have crossed wires
and it causes spark in my brain
especially,
under my personal rain
what i see and what i feel
is the strangest film
on the celluloid reel
it always starts out with a routine plot
and ends up being surreal
i was not raised like others
i took a bus as soon as i could
as soon as i could find a stop
i knew i had to leave
it takes just one good friend
and it becomes easy to leave
could i hold your hand?
could i just sit next to you?
could i just share a joke or two?
could i follow your dreams?
could i make it through?
could i borrow your covers?
i do not work quite the same
i was not born like others
inside, burn such strange fires
help me just so i can keep warm
and help with crossed wires
