the world keeps on changing
making me smile
never staying sane
the world keeps on moving
and what happens next
is not a quiz show
or a special test
it is making me smile
my laughter lines are expanding
and through compassion
comes understanding
the world keeps on rearranging
making me smile
even when i am failing
