Realistic Touch – Written Saturday 18th October 2014 (Aged 39)

Realistic Touch

when you up –
to your waist in smoke
when you are knee deep
in your own lost hope
when the covers –
are up and over
but the ideas are down
when past lovers –
turn into a distant frown
when not enough
suddenly becomes –
a realistic touch
something tells me
that all the close knit talk
means that it is –
time for some deeper thoughts
