Easily Hurt
easily hurt
too many disapprovals
too many…
not feeling good enough
it is not a bucket and spade
it is the emotions that live rough
too many voices
sunk by disappointment in –
too many trials
hard to know what to be
aware of your differents
and aware of not fitting in
from visual aids –
to physical education lessons
where hope never vaults, it just fades
it is all there,
a psychological mess
that gets pushed around rooms
from people blaming you
to people wrongly framing you
easily hurt
happy almost when the spotlight bulb
breaks or shatters
and there is no light on my being
and differences then, do not matter
it never feels good
feeling like you make dreams shatter
