(Let’s Wonder) Light in the Cosmos

raindrops in the window box
rainbows in the sky
let’s wonder –
where we go when we die
shadows in the basement
memories in a box
let’s wonder –
how we could be ever so lost
stars in the sky
lights in the cosmos
let’s wonder –
how we could ever afford the cost
gates into pastures
that could just be new
away from solitary confinement
let’s wade through
patterns on my windows
raindrops in the sky
let’s wonder
about living without a sigh
