Hurt
questioning my love for you
hurt
gouged at the eyes of my love
which has always seen you so clearly
but then,
we are the missed bus to paradise
nearly…
i guess you need to do that
my feelings towards you
have always gone against my own grain
my own personal rules
you have never seen that
and who wants to take on the feeling –
of another
when they do not feel the same
and it is cold now
rain…
it falls freely but i do not mind
reality…
what dignity lies in feeling so easily given
perhaps i need to deal with myself
perhaps i am forgotten
today, just the thought of your name hurt
