Weak Giants – Written Friday 28th August 2020 (Aged 45)

Weak Giants

weak giants
now cast shadows
over our society
they have taken
damaging lies
and turned them –
into monuments
for the truly divided –
to praise

power structures
have melted
and formed a solid mass
systems have protected –
those in power
and people –
have cleaned their teeth
to smile more keenly
the end game –
is aspirational money
and inequality
but it,
finds itself in squalid realms
weak giants
have hold at the helm
