Anxiety Never Makes Promises

other people
often make this being fearful
anxiety is a tsunami of feelings
and a deep flood of emotions
other people
step into my world
with the disposition
of someone about to hand me a ransom
that is why
other people
often make me feel fearful
feelings of dread
have too much to say
and the words often said
tend to discolour my day
tearful moments
when emotions spring a leak
hope is turning
but always scared
anxiety never makes promises
it just plays on your mind
other people,
often make this person feel fearful
anxiety never makes promises
and it is often very tearful
