City Dreaming
i was dreaming of a city
where my streets
were paved with gold
and the billboards
were of my love not yet told
i was outside
chasing dreams
which had fallen by the wayside
i was dreaming of a city
where the taxi cabs were blue
instead of black
travelling like me and you
looking forwards and rarely back
