Low – Written Tuesday 16th March 2004 (Aged 29)

Low

have you ever felt to low
as if your soul
the very fabric
has been torn apart
and held up
and then dropped into a vault
they have left me in the cold
people i couldn’t care less about
but for whom, i am told,
i must keep smiling for
will the verdict is there
i was trying,
but my smile is one of those
that can never be caught lying
