Scandalous
it is scandalous
that the mentally locked away
and the rest of us,
feel like we are in an asylum anyway
counting people
whose sickness should be painted
a tasteful shade of green
with a glint of sun in their eyes
every time they lie, you know what they mean
but these people
never come clean
they mock each other and talk in whispers –
of how everyone else –
is actually at fault
they should all be locked away
in some large unimaginable vault
until they clean up
and something less malicious to say
