Comfortable in My Own Skin
comfortable in my own skin
aware of faults
of good points
and that the –
view is not always clear
but i do not live in fear –
of who i am
i am not scared of the fire
or the lines on my hands
comfortable in my own skin
the most offensive thing –
it seems, you can be,
as other people start to label
and say you are paranoid
is just be yourself
it is not arrogance
i am far from perfect
and i know for sure
that i will not always win
but i know what i am and that –
i am comfortable in my own skin
