Umbrellas and Raincoats

perhaps i lack skills
to make other humans happy
perhaps self pity
has me in its factory
making umbrellas and raincoats
maybe crosswords,
are too complicated for me
all these things
let me live up to my billing
am i just new money
stuck with a shilling
expectations have once again
helped map my situation
putting hope into liquidation
perhaps i lack skills
to make other humans happy
