The Shape of Things to Come
the shape of things to come
the shape of being young
photographs with a tinge of plumb
the shape of movements
the contours of being young
the shape of movements
practised artfully in the sand
lost with such glad rags
and loves no one can understand
how many years have passed
it is of course, rhetorical
but i do have to ask
the shape of love
and its ever changing sides
the trust, the tightening clutch inside
the shape of things to come
the shape of being young
