Uphill – Written January 2008 (Aged 32)

Uphill

every day since then,
well,
it has been uphill
and yes,
some clouds –
do have a silver lining
but for me, some clouds
just have a black bin lining
so, keep on the dream
and keep on shining

every day since then,
well,
it has been different
kind of hunkered down
like i lost the call
but found a sound
thankfully, some people
catch you in their arms
as your own life choices
proceed to try and do you harm
