Every Hour – Written Tuesday 28th September 1999 (Aged 24)

Every Hour

i hang on for you
i hang here, i do
i wait for the days to go
to find your sun
and i am counting every day
they rarely seem to go that quick
i hang on for you
i hang here, in a crazy world
that only ever amazes me
because it is so crazy
i wait for the days to go by
i wait here in the sun
yet i know, i am made of snow
i hang on for you
with my clumsy hands
that dream of your skin
there seems to be no end to madness
so where does it begin?
