Best Friend

imagine, you and me
going out together
coming home together
i will be there forever
you know,
not a thing should bring us down
you know,
we are always going to be around
listen, i am here –
if you need me
come on, let’s start again
let’s find ourselves and be free
my best friend
imagine us, doing those things
that is what we used to do
making dreams, me and you
living in our surreal fantasy world
trying to meet all the girls
desperate not to become old
i am sorry that it happened
it was so unfair,
i felt so inadequate,
but i will be there
let’s start again, me and you
my best friend
