Sure Thing

nothing like a sure thing
nothing like a dream
got to have it
shows i can win
always finding people who care
always finding people who want you
but never finding a person
who can do both

nothing like sure thing
sure is the truth
girl will protect me
she will be my emotional roof
she is in a band,
with me, she sure is loose
but i do not understand
love and care, cannot have both
it is how i am feeling
nothing like a sure thing
