Clutching at Straws
i do everything i can
i am going to give it everything
just to try and make it work
however, it will either be regret,
or plain hurt
and i choose to do nothing
then later on,
i will look back
and think, what a waste
if i give it everything
then i know, that fate –
will just say, i got hurt,
really badly hurt
because what she wants
is not what i want
i think i could be clutching at straws
but all my life,
has been looking for open doors
because life is like money
not only should you have enough
you have got to spend it –
the best way you can
you have to understand,
that’s all
