Thanks – Written Between Tuesday 15th February 1994 and October 1994 (Aged 18/19)

Thanks

I am sorry that it happened
it made me cry
I am so sorry
but you know why
you changed me forever
all I wanted,
was for us to be together
you stand clear from the start
but I tried to convince myself otherwise
the cliché tells me I have a broken heart
suddenly from my world
I find that I have to take responsibility
for things that are my fault
when I first met you, I was a child
now I am an adult
at least in the way I feel
I have to remember that the world
sure is hell and that hell is real
I have housed you
but what is all that crap about
what am I meant to do
Overall, no matter what
there has to be some thanks
