Memories With Smooth Edges
do you remember
how we used to be
life seemed so different then
how we used to be,
memories with smooth edges
times seems to go by
so very quick as you get older
people seem strange
i remember how the world was
different technology
different objectives
different ways to be
looking back,
i was such a different me
i know i was younger
still a dreamer
meeting people from back then
wouldn’t it be great
to live, just once again
to try and change the things
that become smoothed with age
and times does do wonders,
with time, the rough edges
can become smooth
the pain which is there, it can heal
memories with smooth edges
a time that seems almost unreal
