Feeling Nothing

you can move, shoot and float
do not take life so seriously
it is a joke
when i have held you there
i have tried to feel something
but i cannot feel something –
if there is nothing there
that is reality
to think i feel –
anymore than knowing i care
that is fantasy
you can have what you want
whatever or whoever you are
never say you cannot
