Hamper – Written Thursday 25th March 2021 (Aged 46)

Hamper

my hamper
has years to sort through
and things to pick
my hamper
has all the bits
those that do
and those that do not fit
like the selection of savoury items
and the get me home kit

my hamper
is a bundle of surprise
amongst the pickled dreams
are the cries
and my hamper
it is loaded to the top
with those that did
and the things that did not
that is my hamper
