Future Days – Written November 1994 (Aged 19)

Future Days

sometimes i cry
you must know why
i hurt so much
you have a sensitive touch
sometimes i weep
i cannot sleep
i get up at night
i get out my writing pad
and i start to write
memories to look back on
in future days
when i laze
in my greenhouse garden
with my nuclear plants
sometimes i think too much
yes i do, yes it is for you
sometimes i do things i should
sometimes i do things –
and i wish i had not
but i am always glad i did
