I Always Feared Your Construction

this time
you turn me away
oh, i know
it is for the best
it is just…
it teaches me
things i always feared
this time
there is no self destruction
and i always
feared your construction
i have used people
that, i cannot deny
but i have been used to
let’s not break down and cry
i guess it is what we do
this time
your colours are true
people say it is close
but i know the view
who says i need you
who says i want you
it is just an assumption
but this time
i do not think it is time
