chance gets away
a night –
it not as long as day
if only it was
if only you had stayed
a dream can be good
but it can be –
all too easily mislaid
chance took your hand
in a world –
of hard to mentions
you played part
with your intentions
chance gets away
well, it is saving up
for another day
save it all for a dream
but do not get mislaid
