We Moved Forwards

the day was blown away
by the change that came
you took me away
it is time to change our days
let them fly away
the feeling was leaving
as something else was waiting
and with these days
there is no hesitating
the blinding light of change
and it so quickly came
like a wind behind a sail
we moved forwards
the day was blown away
