Signs
still the same old signs
just like earlier times
you know, when we had doors
but you cannot turn the clock back
it only goes forwards
still getting bored
and still, the same old signs
it is like when we had doors
but the doors opened into a building
and we had too many flaws
perhaps beauty itself is fatally flawed
still the same old signs
that i used to adore
but times change, yet again
and the clock only goes forwards
you cannot turn it back
i know, you are coming back soon
but i will never be at home
and i will barely be on the phone
life is a selection with a strange choice
i used to shout about us
but now, now i have lost my voice
