Must Keep Warm

must keep warm
the body is young
but the mind with its memories
act like layers in the earth
each layer a different time
must keep warm
it has not snowed and settled
not for many years
it has not filled up a riverbed
my eyes with their tears
and the word i have said
still remain with situations
and the anger from which i fled
must keep warm
must keep ahead for survival
