Darkly Lit Room
that place in you mind,
in reality –
it is a darkly lit room
where you move around
searching for a light switch
we have all been in that room
and we have all –
searched for the light switch
or even better –
a door we can actually open
because even if –
you find the light switch
it may reveal –
what you never wanted to see
and that is the truth in you and me
