Family Court
i agreed my damages
in,
an out of court settlement
i did not contest
and saw little reason
to heavily invest
i could see there was no justice
frankly, i was too busted
i agreed my damages
in
an out of court settlement
i know that it was right
i could have opted for a trial
but this would have consumed my life
i had not got the appetite
let alone the required bite
i agreed my damages
in,
an out of court settlement
what was the point
of putting them all the stand
i know,
they would never accept or even understand
and that their laughter
would always be canned
