The Faces I Have Seen

oh this life
all the faces i have seen
all the loves that i have loved
and the places i have been
the houses i have moved from
i am, a collector of so many dreams
i live this life
surfing my many varied feelings

oh this life,
it is a carnival wheel
all the fun of a seaside fayre
captured in everything i feel
all the people that i have known
all the unreal that became so real
my, how i have grown

oh this life,
surely no pots of gold
but i have loved and i have lived
and it is every story told
i have being selfish
but i know all about my gifts
all the moments i have experienced
have made me very rich
