Going Forwards
looking around at freaks like you
so laid back, i think it is untrue
i run around without any clue
always got my head in the sand
i cannot always see,
i can appear so blinkered
i am not sure if i always understand
i want to be a hero
but i am not quite sure if it is me
then i think about all the rest
as seen on t.v.
stereotype and all
a simple figure and frosted glasses
to depict the fool
looking around at reflections of me
i think about getting out of here
i think about the sea
i am looking at the waves
see time just float by
living in prehistoric caves
why are we doing this, no one know why
all the things from the past
a collectomaniac race
that only ever hoardes
it is very easy to go back
the hard part is always going forwards
