Mountain to Climb
we have a mountain to climb
i see the layers of hurt
and the tears turned to grime
i try to clean it away
i see trust in pieces
what can i say
what words
can glue it back together
this shattered self worth
who can lift
such an unfathomable curse
sometimes i feel
like could shout and scream
how can people
so easily abuse another being
we have a mountain to climb
