Saying Goodbye

saying goodbye
is it goodbye?
when you are not sure
if you ever said hello
i know you had to go
but i have no idea
on what i should say
you did so much damage
to my younger days
and it is not like
i am angry or mad
and it is not like
i am lost or beyond sad
i just do not know
what i should say
because saying good bye
when you are not sure
what you are saying goodbye to
and when,
you are not sure
you ever said a meaningful hello
