Life Experience

what is wrong with me
what works okay,
what is about –
the lure of outrageous
the moments of the day
what is right with me
what life experience score –
have i chalked up
i fear the highs and lows
and never catching dreams
what is wrong with me
are there pools of sadness
places in a mess,
there are moments of poor show
of which i should confess
what is right with me
as we stroll arm in arm
childlike reassess,
protect me from life’s variable harm
