Heavy Weights

i like feeling –
that the heavy weight –
of years
of life experience
has been lifted

i like feeling
that i am gifted
just by you
i have been falling
now i am falling for you

life has many callings
many twists
and forks in the road
no time for stalling
now, let’s go

i like feeling
that i can believe
sometimes the problems
make it hard to believe
saying things aloud
now it is time to leave
