Pomp and Circumstance

i do not like the way –
they sexualise gay relationships
a point
i think they have missed
i do not like their bigotry
that they lug around in bags
that men must not deviate
from football and, let’s be lads
it is hate –
that beats with every breath
the way they fixate
on every pair of female breasts
i have seen –
that sad long stare
and the desire to hide
from an intelligence that is not there
they make me sick
and their views leave me feeling ill
their dangerous attitudes –
that make me no sense
they are disgusting –
behind all that pomp and circumstance
