Keep Me Afloat
keep me afloat
because these invaders
try to cross my moat
they have daggers for eyes
and hearts made of lies
keep them at bay
they abuse my mind
and never really pay
and i ask them
they have nothing to say
keep me afloat
in these times of living history
and personal dance
life remains a cartoon mystery
drawn by rapidly accelerating chance
i need a person
who does not see a fool
a castle keeper
to reinforce these walls
so i have been attacked
battered and bruised
and for those who shallow drive
i am not to be used
keep me afloat
