This Isn’t Personal Justice

knowing someone else –
has difficulties with them
does not help me
my thoughts are simply –
dragged to those
who emotionally cannot –
defend themselves
i sit here,
with my thoughts –
jumbled up,
somehow the confirmation –
i always wanted –
has come my way
but the damage they caused
leaves me with little to say
i feel saddened –
very, very sad
how much will they destroy
just to be right –
just to stop the tremors
and to sleep at night
