Just Waiting For a Bus
i was waiting in the rain
just waiting for a bus
i did not mind,
what type of bus it was
or if my seat would have to be shared
getting on the bus
was just a step to somewhere
waiting and walking in the rain
can only happen for so many years
with mittens,
and a coat that never really fits
i was smitten,
but always chomping at the bit
and somehow always in a muddle
just waiting for a bus
tried of dirty reflections in puddles
i was waiting in the rain
just waiting for a bus
