Self Image
she feels like she has to fight her weight
and watch what she eats
as a woman –
she says she finds it hard to be sexy
or to even feel that way
of course she is sexy –
but it does matter what i say
it does not matter that i find her pretty
and her quirky character a bit like my own
because where she sees weight
i just see as sexy curves
self image for all of us is just so absurd
but it is how we feel –
and she feels as is her sexuality
and her womanhood
has been tainted and spoiled by men
men who it seems could not care less
it is a shame some stampede in
and then leave, leaving her such a mess
