Your Holiness
i have knelt on your holy floor
i have prayed for so much more
i have climbed your dreamy spire
and i have watched it,
become much higher
and devoid of care
i have knelt at your feet
like it is a nightmare
i have been sat on the pews of your life
i have sought solitude,
and i once worshipped you like a goddess
i sat in your heart and i did confess
but you left me unloved and lawless
you left me broken and looking back –
it was just me, your solitary flock
now i am in an emotional graveyard
where feelings are left to rot
