There Are Balloons in Your Sky

there are balloons in your sky
i know,
you can reach them
there are roller skates in your hall
i would tell jokes
and tell them tall
i remember,
when you put your arm right around me
it was like,
someone had applied the brake
all these bones trying too hard
another masterpiece turns out to be fake
there are snowflakes
descending on your christmas
and when i smile you come home
just never run a mile
look at me, look at me with depth
i look at you and i know –
something has never left
