Freckles – Written June 1997 (Aged 22)

it is the chase and the game
she was was pretty
and she is always about
she was well proportioned
and i mean,
not too small
she had dimples and freckles
but isn’t life so cruel
she had someone else to count them
so it is no freckles for me
it is back to my reality
and i am glad now,
that i never did –

offer to make her a cup of tea
