The Rich Beauty of Forgotten Reason
the canopy of life
flaps gently in the wind
in the warmth of dreams
i search for a friend
the rich beauty of forgotten reason –
is horse chestnut
in this invaluable season
i search in the litter
the soft autumn floor
the wind is kind of bitter
but this way,
is the way to be adored
i scrabble for a plinth –
on which to build
i search for intelligent thought
some kind of harvest to yield
the canopy of life
the market stall of ambition
will roads lead to a perfect destination
as dreams come to fruition
and in the end it will always be
the rich beauty of forgotten reason
