Does She Know How Loved She Is?
does she know how loved she is?
does she know?
does it frighten her –
to keep back a little of her show
i fit in as she dictates
i sit here and wonder
all i can do is wait
and as i ponder
longing becomes a dull ache
does she know how loved she is?
i am crippled by memories
when madness and insecurity
got a hold and became convincing
does she know,
i try to be rational
and put it on show
but everything just fits
i could not lose her
does she know how loved she is?
