Giants – Written February 2001 (Aged 25)

Giants

giants aren’t beastly creatures
’tis only fairytales told by strange folk –
the type that teaches the human’s soul

the tall people used to live on the land
roaming from one place to another,
never staying –
but leaving enough –
to immerse themselves into fairytales

but it was not long before –
giant feet weary and they looked –
for a place to settle
