Care For You

picking up the pieces
and wanting to care for you
do you want me to?
picking up the years
and thinking about –
the times we threw away
but now is not then
now is today
let’s start over as better people
people happier inside
picking up the pieces
and then trying –
to make you believe me
trying to show you
all these new exciting places
picking up the pieces
